Mid-Winter Dinner Party..

Doesn’t take much for me to find a reason for hosting a party, and we are throwing back a bit to last winter when we were lucky enough to host a group of very talented artists visiting town.  Theatre Art Galleries, a local non-profit art organization, was having a pop-up art show, so I wanted to ‘artfully’ create a relaxed, cozy evening for all by having a dinner honoring the artists…

Seeded eucalyptus, and pussy willow adorned the tables…

along with some store-bought roses in small vases to finish out the tablescapes…

And when the party swells to over 30, well you just move out the furniture and set more places…

And in lightning speed fashion, the darling Dorothy Shain created the background artwork used on the invites, menu cards, and place cards.

The evening included a delicious farm-to-table supper by Southern Roots….
