About Leslie Moore

Leslie Moore is the founder and senior designer of L. Moore Designs. She is known for developing happy, long term relationships with her interior design clients, and for a distinct point of view which allows her to design interiors suited to individual client tastes. Leslie’s work is on-trend rather than trendy, so her interior design work stays relevant to the client while bringing in creative solutions and a fresh design perspective.

What To Expect

As creative thinkers, the L. Moore Designs team enjoys getting to know your particular personality, style preferences, and needs. They take the time necessary to understand your lifestyle, so that they can design a space which fits you. For instance, Leslie loves period pieces, but not an all-period room, because that’s just not interesting enough! Leslie and her team appreciates the juxtaposition of classic and modern; formal and relaxed; fine and rustic. This juxtaposition is something that L. Moore Designs brings into every project because it helps enables Leslie to match your own personal mixture of styles.

Leslie’s Design Background

  • Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Vanderbilt University.
  • Leslie went on to complete further studies in Interior Design at Mississippi College.
  • While attending Mississippi College, she worked at a commercial Interior Design firm, which is where she discovered an affinity for residential Interior Design projects.
  • Leslie interned at the high end boutique, Annelle Primos & Associates in Jackson, Mississippi, and found herself surrounded with beautiful European antiques. This began in Leslie a personal love for all things French.
  • After completing her schooling, Leslie went on to a professional career of freelance residential Interior Design for eighteen years.
  • In addition, Leslie has several years of experience in the retail side of design, as a consultant and designer for custom furniture design and antiques importing.

You can expect friendly people who enjoy getting to know you, and love to work hard to meet your expectations, deadlines, and price point. We promise that you’ll be thrilled with your new space!
